About Invisalign
Invisalign treatment consists of a series of clear aligner trays that are changed out frequently throughout treatment. Each set of Invisalign clear aligners is worn for about two weeks. You’ll remove them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they have straightened to their final positions.
You’ll visit our Simpsonville, SC office approximately every six to eight weeks to make sure that your treatment is progressing as planned. How long you’ll wear your Invisalign clear aligners varies based on your unique orthodontic needs. Overall treatment time can range from just eight to 10 weeks to 12 to 18 months, depending on each patient’s goals for their smile.
